A luxury residential development Royal Mint Street apartments in London E1 demanded a multilevel terrace courtyard area that would blend effortlessly both with the traditional and contemporary architecture surrounding it, creating a tranquil outdoor space for relaxation and the enjoyment of a biophillic environment.
Using a combination of terrace system and planter products from Raaft, this has been achieved with remarkable success, contributing towards the apartments being shortlisted for the 2020 Construction News Awards. Raaft Floor Structure Panels were placed directly on Raaft Adjustable Pedestals to create a stable, structural base for the entire roof terrace, without encroaching on or affecting the underlying rooftop surface.
