Set within Chelsea’s conservation area, Essoldo House is a unique and modern residential development. It is a collection of eleven residences including 3 duplexes, and 8 apartments with roof terraces.
The design required a support structure system to create a bespoke 4th-floor radial roof terrace. The architect specified Raaft Support Structures and Atria Taranto Hessian Porcelain Tiles to overcome the design challenges. Valley Provincial installed the products to create an elegant and practical outdoor space.
Placing the tiles in a fan-shape and allowing a shallow build-up was key. To overcome these challenges, Raaft cut the tiles so they could go around a curved corner. The slim Raaft Structure System allowed for shallow build-up. The result is a complete roof terrace system that looks and performs spectacularly.
An urban sanctuary complementing the 21st Century personality and character of Essoldo House. A fantastic outdoor space for residents to enjoy the views of Kings Road and London beyond.
